Theory on Inside Out 2

Something tells me that for the upcoming sequel Inside Out 2 , Riley Anderson- now 13 and in high school, and probably a now-standout hockey player, given that one of the confirmed roles is the head of the summer hockey camp- will have a crush on a girl, and the major conflict of the film will be her mom's gradual acceptance.  There are a few things I've noticed that back up this theory: 1. One of the roles that's been confirmed is Valentina "Val" Ortiz, a popular hockey player at Riley's school, voiced by Lilimar Hernandez (as an aside, this probably means that the boy we saw at the end of Inside Out probably won't have a big role in this film).  2. The only parental emotion that's been revealed so far is Mom's Anger, voiced by Paula Pell. If my train of thought is correct, this probably means that Riley's mom's initial reaction isn't necessarily positive.  This is just a theory, though, albeit one that was developed after reading the...

Where exactly is Chani going?

Dune: Part Two ended with Chani (portrayed brilliantly by Zendaya) about to ride a sandworm after Paul took the hand of the emperor's daughter in marriage, more than likely as a political ploy (the twists, of course, being that the other Houses rejected Paul becoming emperor and, as well, the fact that Chani wasn't aware of the rejection). The question is, where exactly is she going? Is she going further south or to another sietch? If she is going to another sietch, what exactly is she hoping to accomplish? Is she hoping that Paul will follow her or has she given up on him?

Hollyoaks Quotes

"It's homemade". This is very much in the same vein as "I did not know that there could be such music". While trying to get Peri and Rayne to get along with each other, Prince McQueen tries to convince Peri to try one of Rayne's homemade cocktails. Malique Thompson-Dwyer perfectly delivers the line, "try one of her homemade cocktails- it's (sips) it's homemade".  "How can I keep everyone from falling apart when my heart's in pieces?" Ruby O'Donnell has been portraying Peri Lomax for a decade, as she started at just 14 back in September of 2013. After Juliet's death from cancer, Peri's in her room trying to compose herself when she finds a note from Peri on the bottom of the box, which reads "don't let everyone fall apart". While on a bridge overlooking some of the village, Ruby's heartbroken delivery is what sells this line.  "Declaring your love on stage has already been done". Niamh ...

Questions about Hollyoaks

Will Peri find love again? Jeri officially came to an end after several tumultuous years after Juliet passed away from Hodgkin's Lymphoma (with sterling performances from Niamh Blackshaw and Ruby O'Donnell, who portray Juliet and Peri respectively). Peri clearly loved Juliet despite their relationship hiccups (and I was of the opinion that Jeri would've been endgame if Juliet had survived), but will she get back on the dating scene or will she stay single?  *Not on topic, but Ruby is two months away from ten years on Hollyoaks - she was cast as Peri in September 2013.  Will there be more memorials to Juliet? Honestly, this would be a nice touch to have in the village- there was a memorial planter box in one scene but nothing more after that. Maybe Peri and Romeo (Juliet's brother) can come up with something.  Will both Ella and Shing Lin become pregnant? There was drama at Hollyoaks High prom night when it was revealed that Charlie had slept with both his former girlfri...

British/Australian Actors I Can See in the MCU- Part One

Niamh Blackshaw Niamh portrayed Juliet Nightingale on Hollyoaks from 2018 until her character's death from Hodgkin's Lymphoma earlier this summer. If you need proof of Niamh's acting skills, watch several clips: her nonverbal acting in "It's Not Good News", her sort-of speech to Peri in "I Love You So Much", the scene where she's trying on her wedding veil in "Juliet's Lie Discovered" and her screaming match/subsequent scene with Peri in "A Brave Decision"- in fact, just watch all of "A Brave Decision". Then read her filmography in Wikipedia and realize that, before Hollyoaks , her major acting credits were five episodes of Coronation Street and a short film.  *Seriously, if Niamh isn't at least considered for a role in the MCU I'll personally fly to their studios in Burbank.  Daisy Campbell At just nineteen, Daisy's been given some interesting storylines in her role as Amelia on Emmerdale and has c...

Thoughts on the Far from Home trailer

I might see where the " Far from Home " title comes in. Maybe the plot of the movie involves Peter dealing with multiversal shenanigans to try to get his friends and family to remember him again. Maybe it's that Peter's "far from home" in a literal sense- MJ, Ned and Aunt May don't remember him any more.  Is there a Loki connection? Maybe this is where we get the explanation for multiple Peter Parkers and the villains from previous Spider-Man franchises. Maybe they were the Spider-Men/villains on pruned timelines (and maybe this'll be the in-universe explanation in the movie- not any drama related to studios or lack of box office revenue or the actors or what-have-you reasons for why the previous iterations stopped at two movies each- their timelines were simply pruned/stopped).  We might also see a wasteland-type thing with multiple Doc Ock variants like we saw with Alligator/Kid/Classic/Boastful Loki. Out of left field, how cool would it be to hav...
