Hollyoaks Quotes

"It's homemade".
This is very much in the same vein as "I did not know that there could be such music". While trying to get Peri and Rayne to get along with each other, Prince McQueen tries to convince Peri to try one of Rayne's homemade cocktails. Malique Thompson-Dwyer perfectly delivers the line, "try one of her homemade cocktails- it's (sips) it's homemade". 

"How can I keep everyone from falling apart when my heart's in pieces?"
Ruby O'Donnell has been portraying Peri Lomax for a decade, as she started at just 14 back in September of 2013. After Juliet's death from cancer, Peri's in her room trying to compose herself when she finds a note from Peri on the bottom of the box, which reads "don't let everyone fall apart". While on a bridge overlooking some of the village, Ruby's heartbroken delivery is what sells this line. 

"Declaring your love on stage has already been done".
Niamh Blackshaw gave us one of the best Hollyoaks characters in the form of Juliet Nightingale, and- at least in my opinion- it was her portrayal of the character that made Juliet likeable. Juliet uses a Valentine's Day party to declare her love for Peri after a pep talk from a drag queen who told her, "All that matters is how that person makes you feel". Juliet takes this advice to heart and, while on stage, talks about how she misses being around Peri. This results in her and Peri getting back together. While snuggled on the couch later and watching James propose to Ste, Niamh perfectly delivers this line. 

"I'm having myself a nice relaxing little sit, Nana". 
James Sutton is perfectly portraying John Paul McQueen, especially in his current storyline detailing his recovery from an attack outside The Loft. When Nana McQueen asks why he's sitting "all the way over there", James perfectly delivers this line in response- the tone as well as the delivery is exactly why I keep rewinding the video clip that this quote's from to this exact instance. 

"I ran out".
Anna Passey has been putting together an excellent portrayal of Sienna Blake, and this quote is no different. Back in the early stages of her and Ethan's plan to con Rafe out of his inheritance, Ste discovers a board documenting Sienna and Ethan's plan to get the inheritance money. When he mentions that Sienna's almost a serial killer and that "all that's missing is the red tape", Anna perfectly delivers this gem of a line.

Thoughts on the Far from Home trailer

I might see where the " Far from Home " title comes in. Maybe the plot of the movie involves Peter dealing with multiversal shenanigans to try to get his friends and family to remember him again. Maybe it's that Peter's "far from home" in a literal sense- MJ, Ned and Aunt May don't remember him any more.  Is there a Loki connection? Maybe this is where we get the explanation for multiple Peter Parkers and the villains from previous Spider-Man franchises. Maybe they were the Spider-Men/villains on pruned timelines (and maybe this'll be the in-universe explanation in the movie- not any drama related to studios or lack of box office revenue or the actors or what-have-you reasons for why the previous iterations stopped at two movies each- their timelines were simply pruned/stopped).  We might also see a wasteland-type thing with multiple Doc Ock variants like we saw with Alligator/Kid/Classic/Boastful Loki. What should be in the Lightning Thief TV series? (SPOILER WARNING)

Fair warning- this is all essentially a giant spoiler for those of you that haven't read all ten books.  LOOK AWAY NOW SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER You have been warned. Okay. *Geographic casting- Richmond, Virginia for Annabeth; NYC, New York for Percy; Phoenix, Arizona for Clarisse, etc. *A one-take rule for all scenes- you don't get do-overs on your lines in real life   1. The raft that Percy and Annabeth ride to Circe's Island in Sea of Monsters should be the same raft that picks Leo up from Calypso's island in House of Hades . 2. For the scene in Lightning Thief where Luke uses his switchblade to scrape some mud off the sole of his sandal, he should open two blades- he should open and close a bronze blade before opening and using a steel blade. Should there be a Harry Potter the Series?

Long story short, it would be one book per season and one chapter per episode. The biggest argument people would have against it would be that it would recast the characters, and my suggestion would be to have the original HP actors intimately involved with casting to help somewhat assuage concerns. Reason 1: A lot of good book moments were left out of the films. Harry's more snarky side, Harry and Ginny's relationship, "there's no need to call me 'sir', professor"; characters like Justin Creevey and Demelza Robins, Percy reconciling with his family, Voldemort's backstory, etc. Reason 2: Voldemort's death was better in the books. In the Deathly Hallows book, Voldemort just keels over backwards. His movie death is a lot grander than he deserved. Reason 3: Some movie moments were just unnecessary. Like in the Half-Blood Prince: Ginny didn't need to tie Harry's shoelace and the Death Eaters didn't need to set the Burrow on fire.
